Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on our website infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent containing the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail to locate it on our website (URL or description)
- Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.
Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material in accordance with the DMCA, unless the original complainant files a court action seeking a restraining order.
Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts or access of users who are repeat infringers of copyright or other intellectual property rights.
Misrepresentations
Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
